María Elena Moré is a multifaceted executive with a profound passion for the arts, showcasing a remarkable career spanning two decades. She has distinguished herself as a photographer, marketer, and educator, serving as the Executive Director of the esteemed CHAVÓN School of Design in the Dominican Republic, an institution of higher education affiliated with the world-renowned Parsons School of Design in New York since 1983.
María Elena is a recipient of the Young Lions Marketing Award at the Cannes Festival of Creativity in France and holds a Master’s in Marketing from the prestigious IE Business School in Madrid. She is also an active member of the Leica Society International, demonstrating her commitment to photographic excellence and her ability to stay at the forefront of developments in the field.
María Elena’s deep-rooted passion for documentary and street photography makes her a compelling storyteller. Her camera becomes a portal to the human experience, capturing the extraordinary in the everyday and revealing the resilience of the human spirit. Most recently, María Elena has published a photography book “Marileidy Paulino: Camino al sueño olímpico,” documenting athlete Marileidy Paulino’s journey to the 2024 Paris Olympics. Through her lens, she captures the dedication, strength, and unwavering determination of the Olympic champion, and first Dominican woman to win gold medal, offering an intimate and inspiring visual narrative of Paulino’s pursuit of greatness on the world’s biggest stage.
